Delicious breakfast spot!! The omelettes are a must try here! There's ample parking and the service we've had is always great. There's indoor seating available and to go. It is a bit on the pricy side for a breakfast spot though.

Location: Tucked in a row of stores in Folsom, down near Sutter Middle School and the DMV Reservations: none, just walk-ins Service: friendly and attentive, food came out promptly and fresh Ambiance: this has the feel of a classic mom and pop breakfast spot. There's cute local decor and it has a comfortable, homey feeling What we ordered: Vegetarian breakfast burrito-- this was delicious! This place has a whole section of the menu for Vegetarian options which is so nice, especially for a breakfast spot that tend to be very meat forward. This burrito was a huge serving of egg, onion, bell pepper, avocado, tomato, pepper jack cheese, salsa & sour cream. It was also served with crispy hashbrowns. Grandma's Biscuits with Sausage Gravy-- my boyfriend had this and said it was great- flavorful and rich Overall this place is cute, local, and a great spot for breakfast!

This is a little hole in the wall, but a very busy diner. We went for breakfast and that seems to be their specialty. They have menu items named after specific people. I wonder if there are stories behind them? It was busy, but we were seated right away. Service was excellent. The food was decent. So many choices, which I really appreciated. Definitely will try the huevos rancheros next time!

We visited on Sunday around noon for family brunch. We were seated immediately in the booth. The restaurant was full but the service was fast. - kids Mickey mouse pancake & bacon: delicious and generous portion. The pancake was huge! It was fluffy and tasty. The bacon strips were super crispy - Agnes' homemade corn beef hash with hash brown: just okay. The eggs were cooked to our request (still had runny yolks). The hash brown was just okay - I wish they were more crispy. The corn beef hash was okay - lack of seasoning.

We have been here twice. The breakfast is really good as well as the service. Blueberry pancakes are REALLY good. It's cozy and we like taking a pic with Johnny Cash in the background.

Nice little cafe. Great service. Most of our food was perfect. The pimpkin pancakes tasted off, so they quickly replaced them with an alternative. We'll go back again. Also liked the Johnny Cash art.

Great little breakfast spot! Friendly welcome and great customer service. My half Spinach, Avocado Bacon Eggs Benedict was excellent. Especially liked having the bacon crumbled making it easier to cut and eat. Fresh squeezed OJ was a bonus! We will be back

Gold miners is my go to for breakfast in Folsom. It's a great old school diner type restaurant. food is consistently good and service is always outstanding. My last visit I ordered the chorizo scramble and it was delicious. I love that they have gluten free options as well. You can get gluten free toast, waffles, and French toast. If you haven't tried it and are looking for a traditionally good breakfast this is the place to go.

Found this place for our Sunday breakfast thanks to Yelp! and we were far from the only ones. Arriving just before 11, there was a 15-20 minute wait for a table in this 75-seat place. I was a little skeptical that they were being optimistic, but the staff hustles and we were at our deuce in about 20 minutes. The menu is pretty extensive, with a full two pages for breakfast, more for lunch and a kids' menu on the back page. They also have some toys available to help keep the kiddies occupied until the food comes. The baskets on the tables held ketchup and mustard, salt and pepper, and two different kinds of Tabasco sauce. On one wall near the back, they had more hot sauces to choose from, ranging from mild-medium to scorching. Dishes have been given local names instead of something more simple, like "mushroom and spinach omelet" so it meant more reading, but we figured it out and ultimately settled on that very omelet. It came with roasted potatoes, hash browns, or grits; and toast or biscuit. We chose the potatoes and biscuit with a side of sausage gravy for the biscuit, and split everything between us. We had plenty! Two minor criticisms. The place is fairly small, so the tables are closer together than I'd prefer -- not because of COVID fears but just for the feel of a little more elbow room. Second, the gravy tasted like it was out of a can. Gravy is not difficult to make from scratch but it does take time, so it may be that the small kitchen is just choosing the best use of its limited resources. As I said, the staff hustles. It looked like one server was exclusively dedicated to keeping peoples' coffee cups filled while others tended to their guests' needs, then cleaning up after them. A simple country feel to the place but obviously very popular and worth a visit if you're a breakfast fan and in the area.
